Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by Kode.it ("I," "my," or "me"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use my services.

2. Services

Kode.it provides web development, AI integration, automation setup, and related consulting services. The specific scope of services will be defined in individual project proposals or contracts.

3. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information necessary for the project
• Respond to communications in a timely manner
• Provide access to necessary accounts, hosting, and tools
• Review and provide feedback within agreed timeframes
• Make payments according to the agreed schedule

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in individual project proposals. Unless otherwise specified:

• A 50% deposit is required before work begins
• The remaining 50% is due upon project completion
• All fees are non-refundable once work has commenced
• Late payments may incur additional fees

5. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, clients receive ownership of the custom work created specifically for their project. However, we retain the rights to:

• Pre-existing frameworks, libraries, and tools used in the project
• General knowledge and skills acquired during the project
• Use the project in my portfolio unless otherwise agreed

6. Project Timeline

I strive to deliver projects within agreed timeframes. However, timelines are estimates and may change due to:

• Changes in project scope
• Delays in receiving client feedback or materials
• Technical challenges beyond my control
• Third-party service issues

7. Revisions and Changes

Project proposals include a defined number of revision rounds. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope will be billed at my standard hourly rate. Scope changes may require a revised proposal and adjusted timeline.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kode.it shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Confidentiality

I agree to keep your confidential information private and not disclose it to third parties without your consent, except as required by law or as necessary to provide the services.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. Upon termination:

• You will be billed for all work completed up to the termination date
• I will provide any completed deliverables upon payment
• Deposits are non-refundable

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to Terms

I reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of my services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
